Some really neat Downton Abbey type shoes found while out window shopping on my birthday.
Oh, I fell in love with these hard! Too bad they were almost $200 dollars. :(
Happy
I went out on the town with my husband for my birthday. I got my hair cut and highlighted (I hadn't even had a trim in probably 6 months at least!), went out to eat at a new seafood place, did a lot of window shopping and a little bit of buying. My husband, Mark, bought me the lovely orange scarf and beautiful earrings I have on in the photo. Mark also took this photo of me and was acting like a goof to get me to smile. It was a very happy birthday.

I miss my occasional glass of wine. Especially while cooking.
I just have a little over 6 more months to wait.

This is me blowing out my birthday bonfire cake. Do you notice the chunk of cake that is missing from the side? Nice. I'm pretty sure one of the little kids had a hand in it, but no one would 'fess up.
